Jacks

We have been using four mammoth jacks to service our 30+ brood mares.

We added “Knute’s Rowdy Rebel,” son of Gomez, our mammoth Catalonian jack, to our lineup of jacks and were thrilled with the colts he produced.

This year we used our newest addition “Knute’s Rooster Cogburn” to a large majority of the broodmares. We’re hoping for some really nice results next year.

We are reducing our herd and will be keeping “Knute’s Centinela Gomez” and “Knute’s Rooster Cogburn.” Rebel has been sold. We are offering “Knute’s Red Rooster” for sale.

Our slogan is "Custom Build a Mule To Your Specifications." By this we mean by utilizing a mare with specific characteristics and one of our jacks with their individual traits and features, we can produce a combination that is sure to please.

Knute’s Colt 44

We lost Colt 44 right before New Years 2002. He was getting on in age and time just caught up with him.

Colt 44 was a black mammoth jack that stood over 15.3 hands. He threw a lot of leg on his offspring and passed along his good disposition. He was a favorite of ours and we’ll really miss him. Knute’s Pinestone Columbo

"COLUMBO" passed away very unexpectedly some years ago, but thought we'd include him in our jack lineup, as he had built quite a name and reputation for himself over the years. Columbo held the title of the "World's Largest Spotted Mammoth Jack registered with the American Council of Spotted Asses."

He stood over 15.2 hands, and consisted of black, brown and white coloring. Columbo was double registered: Gold star registered with the ADMS and also with the American Council of Spotted Asses.

We no longer own Siemon’s Best Man (“CJ”) but have included him here, as a lot of our colts in the past were out of him. Click on his picture for more information.
